VEGAN BREAKFAST LASAGNA (THE VEGAN BRINNER COLLAB!) by hot for food

Cheesy Veggie Lasagna by Plantiotic with Sarah’s Vegan Kitchen

Jackson got together with Sarah to make a vegan lasagna with a vegan mozzarella cheese substitute demonstrated by Sarah.  Jackson’s video also includes recipe demonstrations showing both a ricotta cheese substitute and a vegan parmesan cheese substitute.  Their lasagna recipe includes zucchini, spinach, and basil.  It looks delicious.

VEGAN MOZZARELLA // Recipe & Taste Test by Sarah’s Vegan Kitchen w/ Plantriotic

Sarah invited Jackson from Plantriotic to make some vegan mozzarella cheese substitutes.  Sarah made 3 versions of vegan mozzarella cheese using recipes demonstrated by Miyoko Schinner and the Avocados and Ales website.  They then used it to make mozzarella appetizers and in a video on Jackson’s youtube channel to make a vegan lasagna.

Coconut Bacon BLT by Sarah’s Vegan Kitchen

There are many recipes for making vegan substitutes for bacon.  In this recipe, Sarah uses store bought coconut flakes along with classic marinade ingredients.  She mixes all the ingredients together, and then she bakes her coconut vegan bacon bits.  This is a very easy recipe to make a bacon alternative.  

How does it taste.  She uses these coconut bacon alternatives in a BLT.  It looks delicious.

Hearty Meatless Burger by Anja

capture_16012015_231212The main ingredients for this burger are mushrooms and lentils.  In the video, Anja demonstrates how to saute the mushrooms without any oil.  She adds the mushrooms and canned lentils to a food processor, along with tapioca flour, oats, garlic powder, onion powder, fennel seeds, mixed Italian herbs, sage, paprika, tomato paste, and salt and pepper.  She bakes her patties, rather than pan frying them.  Assemble your burgers on a bun along with your favorite condiments.  This is a healthy and delicious recipe.  Try it and Enjoy. Chickpea-Brown Rice Veggie Burger by Shira Bocar

capture_25012015_131215Shira makes a delicious vegetarian burger with chickpeas and brown rice as the main ingredients.  This combination creates a perfect protein.  She adds shallots, garlic, parsley, and an egg for a binder.  Vegans can easily find an alternative to the egg in this recipe.  Shira likes to cook vegetable burgers on a hot pan instead of a grill to get a nice sear on both sides.  In this video, she wraps her burgers in lettuce with onions, roasted red peppers, and mustard for her condiment.  This burger recipe is very healthy and delicious.  Try it.  Enjoy. Roasted Tofu Bites with Pesto by “LowSaltVegDudes”

capture_16012015_162940Here is an easy recipe for finger food appetizers.  They are made with baked tofu cubes and topped with a simple pesto.  The tofu cubes are coated with olive oil and paprika, and baked.  The pesto includes cashews, basil leaves, nutritional yeast, garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil which are blended into a paste.  After the tofu cubes cool, they are topped with the pesto to make a delicious appetizer.  Enjoy.
