You wouldn’t believe you could make chocolate brownies with these healthy ingredients. In a blender, Anja adds black beans, bananas, brown rice malt syrup, cinnamon powder, cocoa powder, and vanilla powder. Miyoko shows how to make a delicious ice cream substitue with this very easy technique. She blends frozen bananas, with a touch of almond milk and vanilla extract to make the vanilla flavored ice cream substitute. She then adds cocoa powder to the blender to make a chocolate flavored treat. She points out that you can add up to about 1/3 of the banana mixture with other frozen fruits, like strawberries or mangoes, to make different flavored treats.
